Meet your new favourite snack. A chewy oat base flavoured with creamy peanut butter. Then it all gets dipped in melted chocolate for a delicious twist on a peanut butter chocolate cup.
Ingredients
- 400g oats
- 220g butter
- 140g brown sugar
- 140g smooth peanut butter
- 140g golden syrup
- 180g dark chocolate, melted
- flaky sea salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tin with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan over medium high heat, combine the butter, brown sugar, peanut butter, and golden syrup. Stir until fully melted.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the oats and melted mixture. Stir until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the lined baking tray and spread it evenly across the tray. Make sure to press down on the mixture using the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Once done, leave to cool in the fridge before cutting into slices.
- Dip half of the sliced flapjack into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Transfer to a plate and place in the fridge once again to harden the chocolate.
